Does anyone know where I can find the flowchart describing 1xRTT and EVDP Session setup?
Also, what is definition of a session in CDMA? In GPRS, a session is usually defined as establishing a PDP context. Does CDMA have an equivalent process?

It would be similar to
HDR login -> OK(EVDO speed) -> MIP login -> OK(MIP) -> NOT ok (1/2 SIP)
HDR login -> NOT OK (1X) -> MIP login -> OK (same as above)
For some strange reason, in Telus, if I enable MIP only with SIP fallback (in qpst), it would only give me a SIP, but if I set SIP only or MIP only (in qpst), then it would error. |

What mean "NOT ok (1/2 SIP)"?
And what difference between SIP and MIP login data?
HDR login located in QPST under PPP->An tab, but where SIP login info ?
As I understand PPP->An tab login data and SIP login data are same.
As I've read on some forum:
| Quote: |
To use HDR: Need AN login & password --- QPST->PPP->An
So to use simple IP: need login & AAA password, and maybe AAA SDI --- AAA pass? AN == AAA? just interesting...
To use Mobile IP: need simple IP stuff plus HA password (but could not get it to work) and HA SDI
|
And what is "Mob + SImp f/back" ? |

Its not easy to talk in this forum because I got messages removed by the moderator. If you can find another forum that lets people freely talk.. we can talk there. |
