I have had an MB8000 router using a Kyocera 650 Card in use in my house for about 20 months. I have been having some odd problems lately. It started about a month ago when I removed the PC Card after unplugging the power cord to the back of the MB8000. I left the power cord plugged into my powerstrip for a weekended without it plugged into the router as I was using my PC card in my laptop on the road. When I got home my power supply was dead. I checked it with my multimeter and sure enough the power supply was not supplying anything to the router. I have done this several times in the past with no problems. I figured it had something to do with me accidently shorting the power supply some how.

I ordered a new power supply. Thankfully they sent me two, because a week later the power supply was dead again. It died again under the same circumstances as above. I then plugged in my now third power supply and everything worked great for about 3 weeks now.

I just got back from vacation and my router was not working. I tried to reboot the router and now it won't recognize my PC card. It is stuck in an endless loop of powering up the PC Card then the red light comes on for the WLAN and the router resets. The PC card works fine in my laptop so I have eliminated that as a problem.

I don't know if these problems are related. Has anyone else had a similar problem and how did you fix it? I don't think it is the firmware as my PC Card has worked in this router without problems up until recently. With that said can someone email me the latest firmware update and the instructions on how to install it. I lost my orginal instructions that came with my router.

Thanks
