My girlfriend is up for getting a new phone shortly and wanted to get a smartphone. This requires that we get a Smartchoice Plan and I was curious if my RAZR (V3m) would be able to use Axcess Web or function as a modem with my laptop if we both are on the same plan. Any thoughts?

Well after finally going through 3 different Alltel reps, I recieved a definite answer to my question. If you have a SmartChoice plan with an additional line, only the smartphone will have Internet/Data Access. The second line will have no data services if it is not a smartphone. Example: My Motorola RAZR V3m will not have any data services (Axcess Web or Modem capabilities) just by being an additional line on the SmartChoice plan when the primary line is a smartphone line. Additional lines on the SmartChoice plans are $20 each, and if I purchased a smartphone for the additional line for the plan to share the unlimited data services, the additional line cost would be $40 instead of $20. And I was reassured, yes, it really is unlimited. Hope this helps! Very Happy
