PRL Update?

I just have a general question about whether or not I should update my PRL. Right now I'm running a UM150 on a MacBook and my PRL version is 30029. I've seen that there are newer PRLs out there, and I'm wondering if there is any reason to update? I consistently stay in EVDO, sometimes falling into 1X (which is easily corrected by disconnecting and connecting again). Not sure if that coincides with anything.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think you should get the latest one. It didn't help or hurt my connection but several said it improved theirs. No one has said it caused any problem. Let me know if you need the PRL link and I will look it up for you.

I recommend it. Current PRL is 40036.

Thanks for your guys help. I downloaded the latest 40036 PRL from corolada.

Is there anywhere that has instructions for updating the PRL for the Mac QLM software (currently running ver 4.0.2)? I searched around for a bit, but I couldn't really find anything. I read it's possible to call alltel and have them "push" the update, but I read things saying sometimes they won't do it.

Again, any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a Alltel PC5750 and I need to update the PRL is there anyone that can help me on how to do this?

I just called Alltel tech support and asked them to push the PRL onto my card. They were nice about it and it updated within a few minutes, just had to disconnect and reconnect.
