I been lurking here for about a month and finally took the plunge. I'm still in my trial period, but so far Alltel service kicks Starband in the rear end. I need to save up a little money after buying an antenna, amplifier, UM150 and service, but I intend on buying a router sometime soon.

Without a router I know you need to plug in the data card and then start Quicklink Mobile to connect. My question is, with a router how do you connect? Does the router do this by itself or do you need to still use Quicklink Mobile?

Thanks in advance.

Pete

Everything you need to connect to Alltel is built into the router's firmware. Just plug it in and go.

Cool! Sounds great. I want to order one now, but have to pay a few bills first.

Thanks.
