I am running Mac OSX 10.5.2 (Leopard) with the U720 and Novatel 2.0 drivers. I had been experiencing some instability so I decided to uninstall the components. I read the pdf and removed the pieces it said to and restarted. I connected and was getting faster speeds from the Apple drivers. The problem is I always get a window asking for a password so I dismissed it and the first time it connected - the 2nd time I got a serious kernel panic - (the one in all the languages). I reproduced the panic 3 times doing the exact same thing. I restarted and ALL my network settings were blown out - I mean completely GONE! I reinstalled the Novatel drivers and everything seems to have calmed down for the moment.
Has anyone experienced this? I would like to use the Apple drivers but am stuck. Thanks for any help.

I too have had issues with the new Sprint/Novatel drivers, but in Tiger 10.4.11... connection time is faster, but speeds slower and the OS thinks a new device is present every so often.

Any news on dumping Sprint's drivers?
