|
|
I'm using Sprint Connection Manager version 1.10.0023.0 with an EX-720. The firmware version is 145. The PRL version is 60711.
If I try to use RAS mode, after pressing the Connect button I get an "error 668 cannot connect" popup. I've had this problem for several months. Early on I contacted Sprint technical support and eventually was connected with a 2nd or 3rd level support person that really seemed to know his stuff. However, after about an hour on the call, we both gave up.
I am able to connect fine using NDIS mode, but would prefer using RAS.
Also, lately I've been getting blue screens of death while (and only) when connected using the Sprint connection. (I don't get them with 802.11 or wired Ethernet.) They usually occur while doing large file downloads, but I've also had them when just reading e-mail or using a Web browser. This problem occurred both before and after installing SP1 on my Vista Ultimate laptop.
Any help of advice will be greatly appreciated! |
