Forcing downgraded content?

Don't know about the 1.1.1.x but I have been getting 0.0.0.0 every time I log on. The other times it failed to connect doesn't show any numbers at all. I am in the Tucson area[up on the North side] Using a sprint tower at evdo speeds but cannot get a test on Speedtest. No picture degrading only slow downs and some sites I haunt are slower than normal. my QLM shows I am getting 524 down and 78 up. But those speeds are not continuous!! I use Firefox but have noticed that the Firefox spell checker doesn't work on a couple of sites but the Google abc check does! On this site they both work..I am wondering if this is something that Alltel is trying to upgrade or repair??
I used to get faster speeds until I had to change this card [UM150] in the computer. I don't know if its Alltel, Sprint or the UM150?? I used to get 1200 to 1500 kbps down and my ups were in the 120 kbps range. I actually had one woman tell me that they don't guarantee speeds, only service. This was when I ended up getting a new air-card! If...I could have reached thru the phone, I would have choked that woman!!! The other card just stopped... working... Sorry, almost forgot to give the PRL. Its, 30031.
