I have a sprint U727 modem. I get about on average a 4 bar signal but it commonly is about 2 or 3. I have read in people's reviews that they are more happy with the normal indoor booster antenna than the one that the 3Gstore says is their most powerful evdo antenna that they carry. I would like to know what people think about this because I really want to improve my upload speeds to play x box live. I can play alright right now, it is just sometimes a little laggy with only about 60 kbps upload speeds. it would also be nice to get the maximum download speeds too. Thanks for any comments on my situation. _________________ - Henry |

Where do you get your 4 bars of signal at. Is it right outside the house? If so a bootser antenna may help pull the signal inside. If it is away from the house a bit then you might want to check out the Wilson Omni Antenna. I know myself and other have had great success with this.
Also for XBOX live you want to check your ping times as well as that can cause lag. |

the place where i get four bars is on my 1st level of my house facing west. However my laptop is positioned right next to a big window. that may help my signal too. _________________ - Henry |

is there a big difference in performance between the omni external antenna and the indoor booster antenna? In a fringe area? _________________ - Henry |
