|
|
Went to do a minor update on a website yesterday and kept getting the message 'waiting for server'. My host is godaddy and I use Dreamweaver. Went into the router and found this message repeated many times
Blocked outgoing TCP packet from **.***.***.*:21 (godaddy) to **.***.***.***:1107 (dba vwz) with unexpected acknowledgement 867132968 (expected 867061607 to 867132967)
Any idea what this is about and/or suggestions how to work around it? |

Would that be a setting in Dreamweaver setup? As I can't access the site
Pardon my ignorance |

I have the older MX version. I'm at work now so can't check it out.
Thanks for the quick reply |

I have Dreamweaver CS3 and I get to my 1and1.com hosting just fine with default settings, no passive required.
So maybe your server needs passive setup? Does your Dreamweaver have any patches and such for it's version? |

| Just wanted to let you know that the change to passive FTP worked great. One would think there would be patches for my old version of Dreamweaver but when I check it says that there are not. Maybe they don't support it anymore. |

| Went to Adobe's site and found an update that took me to V6.1. Fairly old copy but can't justify the cost of upgrade for the little bit I use it for. |
