Hi, been looking through these forums, and not really seeing any clear answer, so I figured I'd ask directly.
I currently use a lenovo t60p, which was shipped without an embedded EVDO card. I've been thinking about picking one up (specifically, the MC5720, as the Rev A. card apparently does not work with the t60) on ebay, adding the necessary aerials (doesn't sound overly difficult), and proceeding from there.
What I need to know is what compatibility problems, if any, this would have with carriers - ie, would I only be able to use verizon, or could I go with sprint or alltel. I'm sensing a 'yes' trend, but I've never used a ev-do device before (gsm\gprs is the total of my experience) and I don't really understand how the esn thing works.
Also, if this is a used card that I get, would there be any issues of getting it 'activated'? |
