they are both Rev-A USB modems capable of top speeds.
neither has a performance advantage over the other.
If you plan on using with a router most of the time, I'd go with UM150 because it has signal LED's on its body, making it easier to tell if you've placed the router in good signal location.
The UM150 also flips up 90degrees, allowing it to get out of the way.
Only thing to worry about with UM150 is its not the best built device. If you will be connecting/disconnecting it to a computer often, be gentle.
you get get either for less than verizon sells it from 3gstore, and get discounts on routers/antennas, and even more importantly, single source support by EVDO experts.
