Hi. I would like to know if there are any wireless adaptors/dongles that support EVDO RevA, that will connect to my 360's ethernet port? I do not have the room nor the extra outlet needed to run a router, unless it's a very small router that runs on batteries.

Anything out there I can look into? Thanks in advance.

You basically have two options. You can use ICS (internet connection sharing) through your PC or you can get a router. As of now there is no dongle to hook into the 360 to make it use the Aircard.

3gstore sells two Cradlepoint routers that are very small, about the size of a deck of cards. One runs off a included battery and the other one can run off a battery. clink on the link up top and check'em out...they are great routers

Isamu, If you have the right card or USB card you can use the PHS300. And went your not playing the 360 online just found another plug somewhere in your house to charge it. Or just put the router somewhere with a open plug and run a long Ethernet cable to where the 360 is. There really not that many ways to do that. Laughing

Thanks guys I'll check into it.

Let me ask you guys a question about WiMax, specifically Sprint's Xohm. Once Xohm is available in my area, will there be some sort of USB or ethernet dongle that will allow me to go online with my 360 without the need for a router?

And once WiFI merges into WiMax, does that mean I can plug in the WiFi adapters I already own in my 360, to access a WiMax signal, specifically Sprint's Xohm signal?

Xohm will require all new modems and cards to get the signal to your computer.

If you had the Microsoft 360 wifi adapter, you could use a device like the WifiMax USB dongle to turn your PC into a sort of access point. That is what I use to share my EVDO service with other wireless devices, like my laptop and PSP. It's a bit tricky to set up though, but considerably cheaper than a router that's compatible with my 595U.

If you don't mind spending the money, the Cradlepoint router sounds like the way to go.

That's pretty awesome. Hopefully once WiMax reaches here in Santa Ana, CA, it will allow me to use the 360's wifi dongle to access the signal without a router.

If your Xbox 360 has a ethernet port you should be able to ICS and use a crossover cable from your computer to your Xbox. Thats what I did with my ps2 and also connected my friends PS3 to the internet with that setup as well.
