This may be a dumb question,, but......We recently got a Novatel U727 & signed up with Sprint, so we could get online while on the road. Do they use our home ISP? I'm thinking about downsizing to email only. _________________ Tracy Bertch |

| Or, start a free email account on gmail or yahoo mail (or both) and not pay for any email service at all? many people do that. |

I personally prefer Google's [free] email service over ANY pay email service, its the best around; hands down. GMail |

| I personally would recommend Yahoo if you think you will have mail storage size issues - there isn't any limit with Yahoo, where as I think gmail has a limit of around 6GB. However, you can test all three of the big free email providers - yahoo, gmail and Microsoft (live.com for broadband with a 5 GB storage limit) - to see what version you may prefer. |

| i love gmail too, but its lack of a "folders" metaphor for filing, really messes with some people's minds. |

| I recommend Gmail; you can even set it up to be used with Outlook Exploder (erm, Express), Thunderbird, etc. |

I switched all of my email over to Gmail a few months ago and never looked back. I simply forward all of my messages from my domain hosting provider to Gmail.
As for folders, the analogy is still there, except that you use tags to create virtual folders. Filtering rules can be setup to automatically tag incoming messages so that they go into the right "folder".
