Hey folks,
My company gives me the option of using the Verizon (Pantech UM150VW) or the Sprint (Novatel Ovation U727).
My question is - which is better? I'm looking at the following criteria (in order of descending importance):

1) Power consumption (best battery life vs. speed)
2) US-based coverage
3) Speed (up/down) as an average
4) Product life (how easily did you break yours?)

Thank you. I travel a *lot* and am at client sites all the time and need internet access, robust and dependable.

I have Verizon.
Based off their recent TOS, go with Sprint...

I can't help with battery life.
I *Think* Sprint has more people covered than Verizon when you combine Altels area.
If you go with Sprint or Verizon, you can roam onto the other via the slower 1XRTT network.

Nope. Verizon has stupid 5GB limit. Go Sprint if you have the coverage. I just disconnected my Verizon. You would think that 5GB is enough but its really not.

I say Sprint as well. I have been very impressed with their EVDO coverage and even roaming. I travel a lot for work too and it has yet to let me down. I use a Sierra 595U though. It is big and clunky.
