OK w/tweaks: Dell GX110 Desktop

When I installed my KPC650 into the PCMCIA - PCI adapter card I purchased from Frys, it slowed the whole machine to a crawl. Through trial and error, I traced the problem to a PCI Bus 4-Port USB 2.0 expander card I had added a while back. As soon as I disabled all USB ports EXCEPT my motherboard based USB 1.0 ports, my EVDO worked fine. I now have two hardware configurations: EVDO with only motherboard USB enabled, and No EVDO with all USB enabled. I have to select one on boot-up.
I also learned that Verizon will not provide technical support once they find out that you are using the card in a desktop PC.
I had to borrow a laptop to get them to check-out my throughput issues.
