| This is so darn frustrating! I stupidly updated my software (it pop'd up saying to upgrade). Now, whenever I'm doing a few things at the same time (i.e., download mail, checking for updates on this forum, etc.) - it disconnects! I had absolutely no problem with disconnects UNTIL I updated the software. It is as though the new software can't handle a lot of bytes downloading. What a bummer! |

Have you chatted with VZ? the manager popped up and said there was an update. I refused. I still have the 2 previous versions... Right now I am running 2.3.7. Do they have the older versions on their site still? You could uninstall and go back.

No. One thing I've noticed - after I've been running for a while - I don't have the disconnect problem. I just look at the link and they only offer the Version (Verizon Wireless USB727 Modem) I currently have loaded. I have the older Version on my Laptop and won't upgrade that pup.
