help D-link DIR-450

Sorry about using this forum but the DIR-450 is supposed to be the KR1's competition.Anyway got myself a new DIR 450 the 1.0 firmware did not support the Novatel U720 so i supposedly upgraded the firmware to 1.03.I logged into the router..sure enough it says firmware 1.03 i try to configure the thing but none of the drop down menus work.Called Dlink support..they were quick to say "defective" well its new and sealed from a ebay store but hes not a dealer for dlink so i guess there is no warranty.Dlink says dont do a hard reset that would void warranty..well guess it doesn't matter what i do to the thing..Does anyone know what is the proper procedure here? I want to do a hard reset and hopefully back to factory ,download the firmware again and go from there..any ideas?[/b]

did you try using a different web browser? i have a dir-450 that has now been replaced by a cradlepoint, but i think i remember having problems when using firefox and not internet explorer. could be an option. the dir-450 is so touchy though. i bricked my first router doing the firmware update. so at least that didn't happen to you.
