BigDave, I never said that YOU said to use diagsmsi. I SAID that the Alltel rep was the one telling me to put in the words/letters. And I STILL say that, because it is true.

I did try those directions and repeatedly got "activation failed" message before I called Alltel.

BUT, now I know why Smile As lewxam pointed out..it wasn't disconnected first Embarassed So..you win! I didn't follow YOUR exact directions. I did get those directions on another thread, which led me to the whole update my PRL quest. Must have overlooked the part about disconnecting.
