I don't believe that FW version 1.7.1 had support for the LAN functionality on the CTR350. However the 2.0 FW release I am sure does.

The FW release notes are now available on Cradlepoints web site if you would like to verify.

I tried adding a link to thier site and managed to kick off their Spam filter. So you will need to navigate. It is located under the Support section -> CTR350 down towards the bottom of the screen. You should see release notes or each FW version

Can you describe your setup in further detail? Are you going directly from the Desktop computer's Ethernet card to the LAN port on the CTR? Or is there a HUB in between?

In 2.0 you need to go to the Basic -> WAN page and make sure you have the Ethernet port on the CTR set to LAN.

If you purchased it from 3Gstore you may want to give them a call and see what they have to say. Or call Cradlepoint Support directly if you bought it from them or a different source.

Only one thing left to check...

Is the port on the other device (the device you are hooking the 350 up to) working ok and not disabled?

If its not working, the 350 will not see anything.

Just a thought.
