I have Rev. A with Speedtest.net numbers like this:
Ping. approx. 120
DL approx. 1300 kb/s
UL approx. 600 kb/s
Does anybody know what kind of success I'd have with VOIP? |

thats such a judgmental question.
what may sound satisfactory to you, may sound like crap to me. right?
those numbers would make VOIP 'usable' in my opinion.
but even 20mins on a VOIP call that bad would make me nauseous, too. |

| I've never used VOIP before. Are you saying those speeds would probably have poor call quality? |

| I was fortunate enough to test one out for about 3 weeks or so and at times it was good, other times, the other person on the other end had no idea what I was saying or wasn't able to hear me. There is just no consistency right now for voip on Rev A. That is going to be the big problem here. |

| I currently use voip nearly everyday on my S720 and for the most part it works perfectly fine. That being said it is on revA also of course. It also depends on the PBX/provider you are connecting into and what codecs amongst other things (voip usability has many aspects involved which can cause additional latency, not just your aircard). |
