I am 40 miles north west of Chicago and there is no High Speed here yet. I will be doing some "Sprint High Speed Sniffing" over the next month or so to determine where it is.
Hopefully, we will start seeing some reports on this forum, of location and benchmark results, especially since the maps that Sprint publishes are instantly out of date - these forums can be a great indicator of what is really going on _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

The enternal question everyone is asking: when are these going to be available? (Yes, I'm signed up on "Watch this topic" for a reply.)
Working in high tech, I've seen "vaporware" announced, along with the requisite demo unit, but it's never put in production.
It's interesting that D-Link announced theirs with no mention of date at all.

| My Novatel S620 doesn’t physically fit into the slot of my KR1. I can only get the Sierra 580/5220 DO card and of course the Kyocera card to fit. Has anyone else noticed the same phenomenon? Could this be intentional? I also verified, just for kicks, that Sierra’s AirCard 550 form factor does not fit either (which is essentially the same form factor as their AC 860 HSDPA card), nor does Novatel’s U730 HDSPA card. |

| The S620 card has to be 'lifted' into the slot. Note the extra overhanging plastic near the bottom antenna port. I had troubles at first but got it in. Works fine. |
