Hey gang,
I have been using the CTR-350 for some time now and it has been a GREAT router. About 30 min ago I just hooked up the MBR-1000 to test it out. The MBR-1000 is well packaged and installation is a breeze. I was up and running in less then 5 min and so far so good. There are a numerous new options in the routers options and there range is EXCELLENT. I had both hooked up and I walked until I lost the CTR-350 signal and the MBR-1000 was still 100%. Guess I'm gonna have to enable WEP now as the CTR-350 signal would not make it outside of the front porch. So the CTR-350 is going to start pulling duty in the RV and the 1000 is now fulltime in the home. |

My house is about 4000 sq feet and I get 100% signal strength in all of it. It is raining so I can't go outside and test it but I'm sure I can get down the road a piece |

I need to go off line lol! Here I am ready to order my new CTR350 in the morning and now ya'all have me thinking I had better go with the MBR1000!?
Now I full-time in my RV so range isn't a big issue...oh wait it is as my co-host here in the campground usually shares my connection. Right now my KR1(wireless mode off) is wired to my pumped up WTR54G and I can cover the entire campground so I was simply going to turn the wireless mode off in the 350 and use the WTR54G to pump out my signal.
choices, choices. sheesh! I hate it when this happens! I reckon the CTR350 will serve my needs well and will be nice as I travel a lot without the RV. I gotta quit reading here!LOL |

Well after tossing and tuning lol, I bit the bullet and bought the MBR1000 to replace my KR1 which doesn't support some of the new market devices. It should be here tomorrow morning. I had thought by the pictures it was quite a bit larger than the KR1 so one reason I was leaning toward the 350 when in fact it's about the same if not a wee bit smaller and a much more superior router. Way too many features I couldn't pass up on and had I got the 350 knowing me would have turned around anyway and got the 1000. I should be styling by noon tomorrow.
Another seamless deal with the folks at the 3G Store. 2 routers, 2 usb modems and Sprint service through them and it's all been an enjoyable experience.
