Prior to buying the mbr1000 I thought it could hold multiple modem connections, but upon receiving and setting it up, I now realize it only can hold 1 modem connection at a time. This scenario does not work for me because I do alot of Remote Control work and also need to reset the IP every 10 mins for security. So what I need are any ideas on how to set up a constant connection, that can swap every 10 mins the connection. I also have a load balancing router at my disposal, linksys RV016.

I thought possibly getting 2 mbr1000 and use each as a WAN input to the Linksys, but again with the 3-20 second reconnect time of a modem might screw things up. Ideally if the mbr1000 could have 2 modems, both connected, one in standby mode, but it doesnt seem to be able to do this.

The MBR1000 doesn't allow 2 live connections, it does allow 2 EVDO connections, but only one is active. When one goes down, the secondary one will become the active connection.

Sounds like you need another device/router that allows you to plug the 2 CradlePoint Routers and then you hook up to the device/router.

We have some customers using the PepLink Routers (http://www.peplink.com) to do this type of thing.
