Hi all

Am thrilled with the PHS300, it works flawlessly. However, I am trying to take the battery out so I can try to use it with just the charger when I'm at home (is that even possible?) but it seems like it's stuck in there and won't budge. How do you remove it without breaking the unit?! =\ Frustrated here...

I read the support page at www.cradlepoint.com and it says that it is a VERY tight fit and it is supposed to be that way.

FYI, you don't need to remove the battery in order to use the PHS300 while plugged in. In fact, you should never remove the battery, unless you plan on replacing it.

Thanks. I just want to try to preserve the battery as much as I can, if that sounds reasonable. I really don't need to charge the battery when I am using it at home and have access to an outlet.

What is the life span of this battery if I leave it constantly charging?

I am thinking of cancelling my DSL altogether for this setup.
