Is there any wireless G router that supports the HTC Mogul?
Right now I'm using an LG Muziq with the CTR 350. Wonderful router the 350, but the Muziq appears to be rather buggy and undependable at times. Sprint is unable to help. I call and call and they give contradictory advice, and occasionally they hang up on me.
Then of course there's the problem that every 3 hours the Muziq battery dies.
Cradlepoint has indicated future support for the Mogul, but its much like asking a rabbi when the messiah will come, the answer is always, "soon! soon!"
Well until May my wife and I are depending entirely on EVDO for internet connectivity.
Is ther any router that supports the Mogul right now?
thx,

man... i have to learn to stop drinking my diet coke while i read forum posts. now i have to clean my screen again!
unfortunately... no other router works with our mogul. and you KNOW we've tried.
cradlepoint is our best bet... and we're pushing them as hard as we can. |

In the meantime I've been using a program called WMWiFiRouter. It works really well at turning my PPC6800 into an EVDO router. It's a free trial until April 1, too. So far pretty impressive. I've had as many as 4 laptops and a desktop cruising the net simultaneously through my phone. IMO, that's just way too cool.
I will be getting an MBR1000 next week and counting on Cradlepoint to include support for the Mogul/PPC6800 by April 1. (I hope!!) Adding support for my phone to the fact that the MBR1000 will run my KPC680 card and my cable/dsl will put a guy in a pretty good spot as far as always having the internet available!!
Rock on Cradlepoint!! |

Thx bigdave, this could be just the ticket! I put it on my Mogul, and now I have a full time solution until cradlepoint does its thing.

I'm currently using this:
http://www.wmwifirouter.com/
and it works pretty well. It turns my Hermes Tytn (the GSM version of a Mogul) into a wireless router. The only real problem is that the connection shows up as an ad hoc network. You can connect multiple devices to it and I can blast the signal throughout my house. The beta of the program is free until April 1. You can download a slightly older (not time limit version) of the program from here:
