|

3Gstore has been doing tests with various verizon and sprint cell phones and pda's to add to our 3G Router Compatibility Chart.
If any forum members discover that they have a device/phone that works with a Cradlepoint router, and your device is NOT listed as a supported device by either Cradlepoint or 3Gstore, we invite you to share your discovery with the rest of the forum using this thread.
As proof of your discovery, please plan on posting a partial screenshot of the "Modem Diagnostics" from the Cradlepoint web admin page located at Status > Modem Info
Here is an example of a partial screenshot i took, showing RAZR V3M:
We realize that newer forum members may not be allowed to post images... if that happens to you, email your screenshot to evdoinfo@gmail.com and i'll post the info for you.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS THREAD TO ASK ABOUT A DEVICE YOU ARE HOPING IS OR WILL BECOME COMPATIBLE.
This thread will only be used to pass along info about devices known to work... irrelevant posts may be deleted from the thread. |

|
|
Hi,
I just finally updated my firmware to 2.1.0 and tried my AT&T Nokia 6555 and it works just fine. I had to tell the phone to use the Nokia mode which is the mode for connecting to a computer instead of the default Windows Media mode.
That was a speedtest using the 6555, not too bad for UMTS only. There must be an ATT data center in FL because that is where it thinks I am, lol. I am sending in my proof via email to the admins.
Thanks

|
|
Hi again,
Found another!! Nokia 6263 on T-Mobile. It rocks along at EDGE speeds but it works. Again I had to change the USB mode to Nokia mode.
Speedtest results, it thinks I am in Arizona now, lol. I am actually using the 6263 to post this with the CTR-350. I will be sending the admins the proof of this phone in just a moment.
Thanks

Are you using the CTR500? I have the ATT8525 with ATT service and despite the router picking up the phone in (internet sharing mode) and saying connected, I am unable to browse websites.
If I use the phone by itself or internet sharing via bluetooth directly with my laptop, I can browse the web. I wish there were more device diagnostics!
What am I missing? Here's a excerpt from the Status page in the router configuration. Where does it normally pickup the DNS servers from?

I am running a ec228 with the mbr1000 on the alltel network.
I am unsure at this time how to post the screen shot like you all did up above. If you give me instructions how, I will do so.
I also posted my results here: http://www.evdoforums.com/thread10487.html
I copied and pasted this from the router:

|
|
I can confirm that the Sprint Treo 800w works perfectly with the PHS-300. I am posting this while using the combination right now. All I did was go into the "Internet Sharing" program on the phone and connect via USB connection, it connected immediately. I didn't have to open a browser connection like I used to on the Mogul, the Internet Sharing app automatically opened a connection.
Using Speedtest.net, I am getting about 1200 down / 400 up here in my office, which is about the same as the Compass 597 I usually use in the router.
Glad to know this works, I had never bothered to try in the few months I have had the phone. I always assumed it would since HTC is the manufacturer of the Treo, and their other phones work fine. |
