I notice theres a default DNS setting in there. I remember shortly after I got my 595U someone suggested using other DNS servers to speed up connection some. Anyone know of a few alternate DNS servers? And has anyone tried them in the MBR-1000

OpenDNS is what you want. Here is where you'll find the info:

Thanks. I'll give those a whirl.

The others I was thinking of were like 4. something?

OK, next question. In the router I see a gaming section, in the list is everquest but not EQ2. Does this matter? What does that setting do?

Wow, they respond fast

Everquest and Everquest 2 probably run on the same ports which is why you only see one. The point of this section is for port forwarding and if you don’t have any problems connecting to Everquest then you don’t need it.

Yeah, I was referring to cradlepoint. Took someone 6 minutes to answer my email with an actual answer, not some lame auto-reply.

I'll 3rd that motion. I've been in contact with cradlepoint in regards to the ctr-350 2.0 firmware issue. They are the best company I have EVER dealt with period. We have called each other numerous times and they really care about making sure their products are the best. (and they are)
