I have a linux install (Gentoo, usbserial, etc.), but I find that I need to compile ppp with the mppe-mppc patches or I get frequent hangups. However, these patches recommend kernel patches from here: http://mppe-mppc.alphacron.de/ , but there hasn't been an update in 3 years. Just curious if MPPC is used, are the patches required? If not, why is the ppp mppe-mppc patch preventing hangups? --Kurt
