Could an admin please send me a message telling me what information was removed from one of the above posts? I continue to have problems with my Cradlepoint 1000. It loses the connection regularly and it does not want to reconnect after repeated reboots. I would be most grateful. Thanks.
Also, if anyone has further troubleshooting info on this router\card combination, please enlighten me. |

Update: issue between KPC-680 and MBR1000 resolved
For anyone who is interested, I contacted both Alltel and Cradlepoint. A Cradlepoint tech suggested that I disable traffic shaping. This is disabled by default but I had enabled it. After doing that, my connection appears to be working great. |

| I did the same and haven't had any issues since, Alltel still drops my connection every 12 hours but enabling the WAN ping test seems to allow the MBR1000 to reconnect without any issue. It's just frustrating that Alltel does this. |

I think you were experiencing a different issue than others were experiencing. As you said, traffic shaping is disabled by default...and others were experiencing this issue with traffic shaping disabled.
The removed info by an admin was 3Gstore's work-around for the Alltel KPC-680 & MBR1000, this is available exclusively to 3Gstore.com customers & was requested that it be removed from the forums. Please contact them support *at* 3Gstore.com if you are a customer & wish to get this work-around guide. |

| My connection drops all the time but I do like the concept of the two working together. |

If these forums are here for everyone to share knowledge why make access to a work-around so difficult. If you have a work around to make the KPC680 work with the MBR1000 why not share it? |
