I've reset the router 5 times and still nothing. I get the standard enter your password to enter the internet and I put in the last 6 of the MAC address in and nothing. Prompts me to enter a password again. I purchased this from 3g store but store is closed right now Thanks for your help |

i'm not in tech support, but i can suggest that you revert to older firmware so you can get the ctr350 working again.
then call 3gstore on monday when they are open? |

Yeah I thought about that but I can't get back to the screen to "upload" the .bin file. I'm stuck at the "login" screen. |

It may have defaulted to the default password which is?
Try Password or look it up in the manual. I think it was mentioned on another thread. |

| I had a similar problem. The client was hung up on establishing proxy settings. Even after Resetting to defaults. I tried something else and it worked. I pushed the reset button for a few seconds with the power on instead of the procedure outlined for resetting the defaults. Everything came back to life. |

Sorry for being obvious but when you say "reset", does that mean you held the reset button in for ~5-10 seconds while applying power (factory reset), or that you pressed the reset button for less time than that (reboot)?
On the off chance that something went strange with the MAC address, can you try "arp -a" at a Windows command prompt and make sure that the "Physical Address" reported is the same as your router? Especially the last six digits that make up the password. |

I was going to suggest powering down the router (with the card) and turning off your computer. Then turn on the router, wait a bit and turn on your computer.
This is standard technique for cable modems and basically erases the memory of the devices and starts fresh.
The upgrade changes things which don't get changed in the various memory locations.
I have to remove my U720, after running Windows under Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro, when I reboot back into Mac OS X. The card retains some memory of Windows which causes minor problems in OS X. Oh, I have it connected via a Belking USB Hub which is ac powered so the card doesn't turn off during the reboot. |

my reset procedure is: unplug the power...push in and hold down reset button with pencil...plug in power (keep holding button down)...wait for lights to blink twice...release....Everything returns to defaults. Works for me. _________________ evdo-tips.com |
