I know it is a long shot, but I'm trying to get Cradle Point to connect with my unsupported HTC Tytn. I was wondering what settings anyone using any Windows Mobile device are using. Are you using Internet Connection sharing? The USB Modem emulation ("Modem Link") program?
I know that the Q is supported and the Blackjack is now supported. It would seem that with a little sweat, I might be able to get thing going (finally).
Thanks for any tips. |

Try this :
1. Make sure you don't have the enhanced usb serial port turned on (Activesync/RNDIS settings not supported currently).
2. Look for the application internet sharing, or check in the \windows dirextory on the phone for intshrui.exe.
3. Run the sharing UI, verify the USB connection is selected, and select connect, and connect to the device.
Hopefully this will get you up and running. |

Thanks for the tip, but no luck. There is a utility called USB to PC and you can kick on the RNDIS by enabling the "advanced network functionality tab." I deactivated it and hoped for a single.
My Tytn also has a program called "Modem Link" which I tried in place of Internet Connection sharing and no go with that program either.
Internet connection sharing didn't see a USB device attached and the USB light on the Cradlepoint only flashed momentarily.
I wasn't sure if I could connect to the net or not, but I'm started that the Cradlepoint seems basically clueless that the device is even attached. I'm upgrading the firmware on the Tytn and will start again after that. |

| I upgraded to the latest Schap's rom from xda and tried again. No improvement. I can't even get the USB light to go on on the Cradelpoint. I'll check back in another month or so. |

| I have an HP Ipaq with WI FI and when I try to connect to my cradlepoint router, I enter the last 6 digits of the sn, but it doesn't connect. Are there some settings I need to adjust to make this work? |

When you get the login prompt are you trying to surf the net or are you trying to go to 192.168.0.1?
If you are trying to just surf then there is a known issue with this user login page and mobile devices. You need to log into the router at 192.168.0.1 with another PC and turn off the user login page (Basic->Wireless->Require User Login). |
