As a refugee out in the sticks, and previous Wild Blue Value Pack customer, I'm in heaven now. This combo rocks, speeds Off Peak are in the 700kbs-1100kbs, drops to abut 450-550 during peak times.

I'm curious as to your setup there as I am looking at doing the same thing.
From what I gather (and correct me if I'm wrong) you are using:
1. Alltel EVDO service (what they call "Wireless Internet" on their web site) using the "phone and tether (aka USB cable)" option
2. A Motorola Razr V3m phone
3. A Cradlepoint router of some sort.
I have a couple of questions:
1. The phone you're using is no longer sold on Alltel's website but I take it it was at some point? Or did you buy it off Ebay?
2. How did you know that that phone would work in combination with the Cradlepoint router? I looked on Cradlepoint's web site, and it doesn't say anything about working with any Alltel phones.
I'd appreciate any help you could give me. |

Hi and welcome to the forums. Obviously I can't answer question #1 but I can tell you that, in answer to #2, when you look at the Cradlepoint router's compatibility chart posted by 3GStore (Click here) you'll see that the Verizon version of the V3m is supported by 3GStore if you buy the router from 3GStore. Typically (but certainly not always) if a particular device by either Verizon or Sprint works in a situation like that the Alltel version will as well. |

3. A Cradlepoint router of some sort. (CTR-350 WiFi Travel Router)
