JoeCHecht:
I am advising you to contact CradlePoint on this. They could have you turn on the remote administration feature on the router and try replicate the same issue in "their" web browsers on "their" end.
I have not been able to get this to occur on the multiple CTR-350's that I have here in the test lab at 3Gstore. _________________ - Victor |

They where the first to be made aware of the problem, and have been supplied screenshots, before and after config files, copies of firmware, detailed instruction, along with advice on how to debug the routers code.
All they have to do is search the router's code for the word "dummy", and they will find the code where the router is sending the password in plain text as a http get command, and a page reload instrucitons.
I also offered video footage documenting each and every problem, as clearly replicated on two different machines, using two different internet connections, and two different browsers.
Remote administration??? Not on my network!!!! Seriously, I would love to help, but we do not allow that sort of thing to go on around here (and I think I have already spent way too much billable time identifying the bug, sending files, instructions, debug info, and advice. In fact, I think I deserve a discount coupon for a MBR-1000 for all my efforts).
In short, I think they will be able to find the bug and squash it.

Thanks for the good word on the CTR350!
I am happy to hear that I should not have the same sort of issues that I have found with the PHS-300 model (that is the current topic this discussion).

| Thanks so much for bring this to the attention to the manufactures. Everybody involved with security including network/computer security knows that one makes use of layered concept for security. For instance, and this is not an analogy for the issue here, you don't lock the front door then leave your keys where they could be easily found. |
