wireless network

I have a PC5750 installed in my laptop.. I have the internet connection shared out. I have a linksys wrt54g router (normal not EVDO).. I have a ethernet cable going from it to my laptop, and another cable from the router to my xbox 360. All works fine. I bought a linksys wireless adapter for my other computer. I have it installed and everything, and it sees my router but will not connect to the internet. What can I do to get this working?

I've had no issues with this setup so I am looking for help with what I have, and not so much recommendations on stuff I should buy.

i got it working, with the help of a nice user here. my 2 pcs, xbox and wii are now online.
