If I have a CTR350 and I plug a card of some sort into it, can I still access the card as far as tweaking it? I've noticed there are various tweaks posted (like the ##DATA one for playing with the HA), but I can't tell if the card has to be plugged directly into the PC or not.

If the card commands can be accessed through the router, does it matter what kind of card as far as accessing goes?

Thanks for any answers.

You can only modify these card settings with the carriers connection manager software [with the aircard connected directly to the computer with the software loaded].

Ah, OK. Thanks for the quick reply. I can certainly do that, just slightly less hassle to go through the router. I'm expecting to order the router, card, antenna, and cable from you guys this fall - just making sure I know all the potential problems and pitfalls well in advance.

However....

Those settings are stored on the EVDO device, so make them on your computer, move the card to the router and the settings will remain in effect.
