i'm in central miss
have the pc5750 card
at speedtest highest is 200k, while others on here post 1000k+
also 2 bars of service
any tips

| I would try locking it to EVDO. That way you would be sure you are not switching down to 1xRTT. |

What is your actual signal strength? (The bars are very unreliable as to actual signal strength. Kind of for looks.)
Click on help>about and let us know what the RSSI number is. Sounds like you may be in the -100dBm range and may be a candidate for an antenna. |

it varies, right now its -95
this morning , i went outside and had full service
ran a speedtest test and had up to 1500kbs
big difference from inside and outside

| You want to get either the external trucker antenna with cable and an adapter to get to the signal outside, or a yagi if you have line of sight to the tower. You'll then get the benefits of a good outside signal while inside your house. |

dave | As I thought . . . . looks like you would definitely benefit from a booster antenna. Check with the folks at 3GStore, the hosts of this forum (see link at top of this page) and they will point you in the right direction as to which antenna will work best for your situation. Let us know how it works out. |
