Can you ask cradlepoint if they have given any thought to wimax compatibility? |

As mentioned in the MBR1000 Router Review, we'll update our Router Compatibility Chart with info about MBR1000 devices, as soon as 'production' firmware is available.
I do know that its working with everything currently available from Sprint/Verizon, thats not a PCMCIA card.

Good question. hard to answer since wimax is so wishy washy of late.
i'd suggest you email cradlepoint at suggestions@cradlepoint.com
i'll plan on discussing with our contacts, as well. |

Looks like the MBR1000s were delayed in customs, they are shipping them to us on Wednesday of next week and we should be able to ship them on Thursday (2/14). We initially projected a 2/15 availability, so we were not that far off.
More info posted as we find out.
Does that mean the production firmware has been formalized? |

Will be interesting to see comments on how this works.
I'm curious if you can use the dock and plug that into the router? |

well the 595U comes with the dock you can use to extend it from your computer. Early on someone was theorizing that added like an extra stretch of antenna.
Ordered the MBR-1000 this morning |

i don't see why you wouldn't be able to use 595U's dock. |
