I was wondering how to set this up to make my computer get the bandwidth it needs when my friends or kids are on the other computer.. there is a gaming tab in the advance settings of the ctr350... I have it set up and enabled for counter strike but it seems to not make any differernce when others are on the other computer....I still get signifigant lag and get kicked from the servers when both computers are online!!! is this supposed to give me the majority of the bandwidth and give the other comp less for downloading pages?... what should the inbound filters and the schedule be set to .....I may have misunerstood this and it isnt supposed to do what im thinking !!! thanks for any help!!!

Available bandwidth is 'fixed' for any one card. Add additional computers to use that card divides the available bandwidth by the number of computers using it at one moment.

The more computers doing something at the same time via one wireless card, the slower each computer's results will be.

its not likely due to router settings. it could very well just be that the tower you are connected to, is seeing intermittent load?

the gaming tab of admin simplifies what ports to open for each game on the pulldown menu.

wipipe is what optimizes connectivity for gaming, but there are not settings you mess with for wipipe. its just there as a built-in feature of all cradlepoint routers.

traffic shaping would allow you to prioritize which LAN ip address connections are given more attention/priority.
