Being in a crunch to give a remote location in WA internet access I spun my wheels for a day with Verizon trying to locate a plug and play solution as quickly as possible. Someone finally pointed me off into the direction of 3GStore.com. I am now the happiest camper on the planet!!! The pre sales support was a wonderful experience. I was not handed a scripted question and answer session. I felt like a person. A brandie new CradlePoint CTR 350 and Novatel USB727 arrived at my doorstep this morning. Very nice and small.... understand I've been around since full height 2 Gig SCSI HDD's were the next best thing. I tore through the packaging, read the quick setup and threw my hands in the air. I was looking to plug this beast into an ethernet card on a PC and walk away. The only ethernet port was labled WAN and the quick setup descibed it as a method to use the CTR as a portable wireless access point with the ethernet as the WAN side. It was also strange that the setup was done through the WiFi. I freaked. I looked over my invoice for a phone number and saw the hours of operation for 3G as M-F. Damn!! I shot a quick email off to the support email account and with in 10 minutes... very surprising... a response came back from a REAL LIVE person!!! Victor let me know their support was in fact M-F but he would attempt to call me later today. As the evening started coming in and a very disappointed feeling came on, my cell phone rang and Victor squared me away. Not only did he straighten me out and let me know the router could be used as I needed it but he also sold me on 3G. I'm sorry I ever doubted the pre sales. I have had a beyond EXCELLENT experience with 3G and plan on using them for all of my cellular data needs. From pre sales through the ordering process and their support I have had nothing but a wonderful time. This is quite unusually compared to most companies that will let you wait on hold to play their advertising and "you can use our self help by going to www..." attitudes. Where the heck did good customer service go? 3G. You folks are THE best and if any company needs to model their services on someone it would be you!
Thanks to all for making my day
