| Im pulling my hair out here trying to figure this out. I have drivers for the Alltel hue. All these drivers have done so far is turn my hue into a micro SD card reader. The micro sd card is accessable through my computer and it shows up as a removeable drive. I do not see any modems so I cannot create a dial up connection like it was explained by other people. I want to use the HUE as a tethered modem. I read posts by people that say they have it setup. What do I need to do??? Please help!!!! |

I used the Axcess Mobilelink software and I think there is a post here on where to get it online.
When you go to the connection wizard the hue doesn't show up as a modem? Have you tried taking out the SD card and plugging it in without it? |

| Ok, I downloaded the mobile link software but it was for a different phone should it matter? I already have drivers loaded. I will take the SD card out of the phone and try to get it working that way. |

I am not an expert so whatever I say might be wrong. LOL
But if you got the Mobilelink software working I would try going into tools and then "test wwan device" and see if it detects the Hue. |

| Ok I have the phone working as a modem. But I tried connected to the data network using #777 as the phone number and myalltelcellnumber@alltel.com and a password of alltel. I get access denied bad username and password. Am I still doing something wrong??? |

| I believe your 10 digit phone number is the user name and alltel (lower case) is the password. |

It's yournumber@alltel.net instead of .com. Make sure you use all 10 digits of your number.
Bigdave is right, the password is alltel in lower case. |
