Is the 18" cable sold in the 3g store the only adapter available at this time? Is there a simple FME female to modem coupler available? It probably doesn't matter, but the skinny wire on the 18" adapter doesn't look exactly low loss. If you need to run some coax anyway, it doesn't make sense to have an 18" bottleneck in terms of signal loss.
