| So, I probably jumped in to the whole AirCard / D-Link router world without doing enough research. My first purchase was a Verizon V740 ExpressCard which did not fit the router. My mistake, I should have read the list of compatible cards. I returned the V740 for a Sierra AC 595U, thinking that this card was supported. After spending hours on the line with D-Link support, I came to realize that the 595U was not supported, just the old 595. Again, my mistake. However, now I am not sure what to do. My Laptop doesn't accept a standard cardbus, so I can't buy one of the standard sized AirCards. Should I go try to scout out a Novatel U720 (these don't seem as available as the 595U, as they seem to be older)? Should I just wait the eternity that D-Link will take to update their firmware to be compat with the 595U? What are the odds that a PCMIA USB card would get the 595U working the router? I have my doubts on the last option. |

you return the D-crap and get yourself a cradlepoint CTR350 or PHS300 from 3gstore, and end up with superior customer/tech support. |

| I heeded your advice and made the order. The D-Link is back at Micro Center. Just found out that the 3GStore ships from Cary, IL, so I should have my new router up and running in no time! |
