vista 32. Drivers are not found for my usb 720...windows solution is that this card is not compatible with vista. Many vzacces versions tried. I have another vista laptop which it worked fine on and cannot find any differences in the device drivers. Verizon tech support says to update version of VzAccess...this does not work. I searched and cannot find a solution. Any suggestions? If any more info is needed please let me know.

Get the drivers from the Novatel site. I'll see if I can find my link or at tleast upload the drivers for you to grab.

If the USB720 shows up in device manager as a modem you can uninstall the Access manager and set up a dialup connection like any other modem. Use #777 as the dialup number and leave the username and password blank and the Advanced Security should be set to Challange Handshake Authen.......... and Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS........) everything elese unticked/unchecked.

General Security should go blank when ticking and then setting Advance security.

I had my USB720 working with both 32 and 64 bit Vista Ult but use the stick now in a router so I uninstalled the drivers and the VZW bloatware was uninstalled as soon as the stick was activated and PRL updated.

I post this throuh the USB720 using the DUNN setup on a 64bit Vista Ult HP dv9230us laptop.

The stick should show in device manager as a Novatel Wireless Expedite EV-DO Modem.

Took 5 minutes to reinstall the drivers and setup the DUNN.

If the connection setup balks, choose setup connmection anyway then look in Control Panel\Network Connections and then the connection properties of the DUNN and make sure the Stick is top one in the list of modems and is checked. (You can also get to the security settings here also)

(Make sure the stick is inserted during the DUNN setup)
Quick Speed check:
