| I've learned more about EVDO in general here than I've learned talking to Alltel's tech support. That's not to say that Alltel's guys haven't tried; they're just not up to speed. My EVDO experience is much better than it was last year, and while a lot of that is because Alltel appears to finally have the tower issues under control, most of it is because of the information I've received from the 3GStore guys here on the forum, and the community. Alltel's people could learn a TON from these guys, and 3GStore should definitely sell and support Alltel. |

Once again, 3Gstore is throwing this thing around and this time we wondered to ourselves what others might think of the idea.

This looks like a good place to make my first post. I am a regional truck driver (all states bordering KY). I use a 5750 card. I get good and bad connections depending on all the factors. I have been lurking here for a few months and thought I would add to this thread. I have not bought anything from the 3Gstore, however I have shopped there a little. I plan to add a router to the truck soon, so I can get better signal without being tethered to the antenna. I have enjoyed this forum VERY MUCH. It has been invaluable tool in researching my decisions of service/hardware/software.
I think it would be a great business decision to support Alltel !!
Thanks again for this forum

Just an FYI.
Alltel's KPC680 works on a mac both in the card slot and over usb if you have Quick Link Mobile 4.0.2. They seem unaware of this and only provide
a windows version of QLM in the box. |

I just got alltel service and I got my mbr1000 setup yesterday with the gracious help of 2 3g store techs. I love it. I would have bought my service from 3g store but verizon or sprint is not available in my area. Thanks to this site me and my 2 boys are cruising the net at highspeed.
After a couple years on dialup it seems like Christmas morning. Ps. My mbr1000 got to me a day early..great service... _________________ alltelevdo |

Yes, based on my short time of reading this site and its fora I definitely think that you should begin to officially provide support for AllTel users and products.
If you do not do this, then for those of us who are dedicated AllTel users, what's the alternative? Is there a comparable site with fora that we can utilize?
Again, I'd really rather stay here, but direct product and user support for Alltel is needed.
Thanks, JerryB |

I would definitely recommend supporting and selling alltel. I wasn't able to learn anything at all from the Alltel techs either. After reading a lot here, I can actually tell them more than they can tell me.
I certainly would have bought my equipment from you guys if it was supported here. The only thing is the price issue. All of your antennas and what not are almost twice the price than your competitors. Would the Alltel equipment end up being the same way? I understand you have to support the board, but there is always advertisers and donations. |

Why not?
Alltel is the only answer for some of us. Sprint has no coverage where I'm at. |
