|

First post, but have been reading through for about a week now.
I've decided on a KR1 over the Linksys and DIR-450. Signal strength and price have won me over and Kyocera support seems pretty good.
Anyways, I need to install for a client in a remote office. Unfortunately, our client needs this setup by next week and no way we can wait for KR2.
I've narrowed down the choices to a S720 from Sprint. Reading from this forum, the U727 or even the 595 would actually be better cards but the KR1 do not support either.
However, I have not found any reviews or posts from this forum indicating there is anything as relatively *stable/mature* as the KR1, and especially if I decided to got with a U727.
Also, as the remote office is comprised of only about 10 users (5 LAN, 5 Wireless)...I was thinking how well a KR1 could handle being connected to a HUB or switch. (just curious if any compatibility problems with such devices)
Thanks for any suggestions or advice. I know you guys may have heard my questions before, but just wanted to ask again explaining my particular sitiuation.
BTW. Great forum! |

i have no idea what makes you think the KR1 is a superior router to the Cradlepoint CTR350, but if I were you, i'd rethink the decision.
The CTR350 and Sprint U727 is an excellent combination. |

Thanks for the reply Alex.
Sorry if I wasn't more clear, but I may need to eventually connect the router to a HUB or Switch so the CradlePoint did not even cross my mind.
Cheers. |

Oh man...nice!
Thanks Alex.
I'll need to revise the job order and suggest this instead. |

I agree! and don't forget to put in the job spec, the following:
"Make sure to get U727 with Sprint service as well as all other EVDO gear from the EVDO Experts at 3GStore.com!"
