I do since hurricane rita took out the cable lines in my area and they decided it wsn't profitable enough to restring. So it's either 56k, ISDN, Sat, or EVDO.
I use two Routers and 2 VZW devices for my connections. I do miss my gaming but getting too old for that anyway. _________________ A simple man. |

| Have been using Sprint EVDO for 2+ years (or whenever it came out) and decided to dump my cable modem a year a go. While I don't miss cable, I'm not able to stream very HQ video. VoIP isn't quite good enough and latency may not be good enough for some games. But for most people, EVDO is a solid option to cable/dsl. |

| I've been using EVDO as my primary internet connection at home since Christmas. I had cable internet back in 1998-1999, but then moved out to a rural area where dial up and satellite are my only options. I never liked the large hardware and setup expense involved with satellite, not to mention the mediocre speeds I've read about. So, we were stuck with dial up for almost 8 years. A friend introduced me to the EVDO concept, and after a bit of research, I found that a tower had been constructed close to my home sometime in the past year. I made the switch almost immediately, and have been extremely happy to FINALLY have a high speed connection at home again. |

so insteal of 800kbps down (meh just a small equal number prolly more) do you get 800 down per card? that would help if you were in range of 2 towers

danm that must be expensive. onsidering vzw has a 10GB limit per month on their connections |

The second connection is mainly for updating computers I bring home from work. I do not load balance between the two. _________________ A simple man. |
