Is the PRL that your changing specific to the card you are using? Only reason I'm asking this is that my PRL Version is 40007.

Here's the latest speedtest result with Rev A:

Alltel's latest PRL for data cards is 40029. Sometimes they have one specific to a certain card and/or in a certain geographic area for different reasons. But eventually they pretty much all catch up to the same PRL.

Noob, since you're getting Rev A I don't think I'd change a thing!! Can't get much better than that. Smile

You should see a pretty decent improvement in latency with your new antenna when it arrives. Of course low latency with slow downloads doesn't work well either . . . so be careful what you ask for!! Wink

I too have been amazed that I've been getting Rev A. I've been connecting at Rev A almost 90% of the time now. Though as stated in another post it drops out every so often and goes into DO.

I'm pretty sure that Alltel is rolling out Rev A. I'm located in Northern Michigan in a town of around 550 people. We do have an Alltel Tower in town which is about 3 miles from our place.

When I picked up the card from Alltel store, they made no mention that Rev A was being rolled out or even testing was starting. I'm still amazed as to how/why I'm connecting with Rev A. But I'm not complaining as the speeds are great, as everyone has seen with my speedtest.net results I've been posting.

The only annoying thing is the switching from RA to DO coverage. And its been happening alot of the past 3 days. Very annoying, as your automatically just get disconnected.
