Ok, I know how deadly it is to insert an air card prior to installing the software, however some kind of way, it happened.

It's an old VZW PC5220 that I'm trying to get to work on a Dell laptop running XP. When I run the install disk, everything works as normal, however when VZAM is opened, it never finds the card.

I remember that there were a few files that needed to either be deleted or moved when the card insert occurred before software installation, but I cannot remember which files.

I searched the forum, but was unable to find what I'm looking for.

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to get this laptop up and ready before the storm season begins in the Great Plains.

Thanks

Well, I'll attemp to fully un-install the application and then re-install it. I already tried this, but I'll do something different this time. I looked in another laptop and saw a few Aircard555 files within the folder for VZAM. I have a 555 install disc so I'll run it first then the VZAM disc and see what happens.
