PHS300 rocks

I just got my PHS300 and I am impressed. Now I can place my CDU-680 & PHS300 where the signal is best. I might get a USB extension cable so I can lash the CDU-680 to the top of the PHS300. Right now it looks a bit ungainly. I also got the antenna adapter for my CDU-680 and I already have a Wilson amplifier.

I can see a lot of interesting applications for ithe PHS300 with a cellular modem.
* There are a number of serial, RS-232/422, to WiFi adapters. So one could network up to 16 devices on a shop floor or warehouse.
* There are Linux SBC, single board computer, with WiFi so one could have interesting data collection devices.
* wireless network at an event.

Side note: now that Eye Fi has teamed up with Lexar I can see interesting event photography applications where one can use a laptop as a mother ship and several cameras uploading their photos. Hopefully Lexar will introduce larger capacity cards and the ability to upload RAW images not just JPEGs.
